Job Title: Business Support Executive

Salary: Up to £30,000 (Pro Rata)

As our Business Support Executive, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the business running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day finance administration and reporting, while also providing trusted support to the CEO and managing key office operations. This is a hands-on, varied role where organisation, accuracy and initiative really matter.
As our Business Support Executive, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the business running smoothly behind the scenes. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day finance administration and reporting, while also providing trusted support to the CEO and managing key office operations. This is a hands-on, varied role where organisation, accuracy and initiative really matter. The purpose of this role is to provide reliable, accurate and proactive business support across finance, administration and office management, enabling the CEO and wider team to focus on delivering outstanding work for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Business Administration

Raising and issuing client invoices accurately and on time

Reconciling business bank accounts and maintaining accurate records

Preparing monthly finance reports including sales revenue, aged debtors and aged creditors

Managing credit control, including monitoring overdue invoices and chasing outstanding payments

Supporting accurate financial tracking and providing insight to support business decisions
CEO Support

Providing diary management support for the CEO, including scheduling meetings and managing priorities

Acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day administration and follow-ups

Supporting preparation for meetings, reports and internal deadlines
Office Management

Managing general office administration and day-to-day operations

Ordering and managing stationery, printing and office supplies

Liaising with suppliers and service providers as required

Supporting efficient systems and processes across the business
About You
-
Previous experience in a finance administration, business support or office management role

Strong numerical skills with high attention to detail

Experience raising invoices, reconciling accounts and managing credit control

Experience using QuickBooks is desirable but not essential

Confident producing regular finance and management reports

Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Proactive, reliable and able to work with minimal supervision

Confident communicator with a professional and approachable manner

Discreet and trustworthy when handling sensitive information
