Role: Growth Marketing Manager (Annuity Ready)
Salary: From £45,000 depending on experience
Location: Penrith, Cumbria (Hybrid – approx. 2 days per month in office)

We’re recruiting a Growth Marketing Manager to create and deliver integrated campaigns for our Annuity Ready brand, combining content, campaigns, partnerships and PR to drive measurable commercial growth.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on variety, balancing editorial excellence with strategic thinking and a strong growth mindset. You’ll play a key role in how our content is discovered, amplified and optimised across both traditional and emerging platforms, including AI-driven environments.
The Role
This is a full-stack marketing role covering content creation, campaign delivery, PR activity and performance optimisation. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality marketing activity that strengthens brand presence, improves engagement and drives commercial outcomes, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistency, compliance and impact.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating engaging, high-quality campaigns that connect with target audiences
- Planning and managing content calendars to support integrated campaigns and storytelling
- Monitoring how content is discovered across evolving AI and digital platforms and adapting accordingly
- Collaborating with agencies, designers, videographers and compliance teams to deliver campaign-ready content
- Editing and proofreading content to maintain a strong editorial voice and brand standards
- Building and managing relationships with influencers, media contacts and stakeholders
- Linking marketing activity to commercial outcomes and measuring performance impact
- Gathering and applying customer insights to improve ongoing activity
- Supporting thought leadership and editorial content to build brand authority
- Ensuring all content meets regulatory, compliance and best-practice standards, including vulnerable customer considerations
About You
We are looking for an experienced marketing professional with strong editorial, campaign and content experience.
You’re likely to bring:
- Strong experience in content creation, editorial writing and storytelling across multiple formats
- Experience planning and managing content calendars in fast-paced environments
- Background in PR, media relations or influencer engagement
- Understanding of SEO, social media and digital content distribution
- Confidence using data and insight to improve marketing performance
- Strong knowledge of brand communications and UK media landscape
- Awareness of compliance, GDPR and regulated marketing environments
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or similar (desirable)
- CIPR/PRCA or similar certifications (desirable but not essential)

Additional Information
- Full-time, Monday–Friday (37.5 hours per week)
