As HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the people agenda across the business, helping to create a positive, compliant and engaging working environment. Working closely with managers and employees, you will provide practical HR support across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, development and wellbeing.

You will be responsible for:
- HR support: Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across the business.
- Recruitment & onboarding: Supporting recruitment activities, onboarding processes and employee development initiatives.
- Employee relations: Managing absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance processes in line with company policy and employment legislation.
- HR administration & systems: Maintaining HR systems, records and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Payroll & training support: Assisting with payroll administration, training coordination and wider HR projects.
- Health & Safety & wellbeing: Supporting Health & Safety compliance, employee wellbeing initiatives and site-based activities.
- Employee engagement: Acting as a key point of contact for HR and people-related queries across the organisation.
About you:
You will be an organised and proactive HR professional with experience providing practical HR support in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy building strong working relationships, offering sound advice and helping managers and employees navigate people-related matters with confidence.
You will have a professional and confidential approach, strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. You'll be motivated by delivering a positive employee experience while ensuring compliance and best practice across all areas of HR.
What you'll bring:
- HR experience: Experience in an HR Advisor, HR Officer or similar HR role.
- Employment law knowledge: Sound understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Employee relations capability: Experience handling absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance cases.
- Communication & organisation: Strong interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Professional approach: Ability to work with discretion, confidentiality and professionalism.
- Systems & IT skills: Good Microsoft Office and HR systems experience.
- Qualifications: CIPD qualified.
- Additional expertise: Health & Safety knowledge or experience would be advantageous.
