Realise HR is delighted to be partnering with Innovia Films to support the appointment of a Payroll & HR Advisor at their Wigton manufacturing site.
Innovia Films is a global leader in speciality films and advanced material science, employing around 500 people locally and operating as part of an international manufacturing group.
This role sits within the HR team and will play an important part in ensuring the delivery of a high-quality HR shared service, supporting accurate payroll processing, HR administration and HR systems management across the employee lifecycle.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong payroll experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is looking to develop broader HR exposure.
The Role
Working closely with HR and Finance colleagues, the Payroll & HR Advisor will support the delivery of payroll and HR services across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
Payroll

Supporting the end-to-end monthly payroll process for a defined period across the next 12 months

Providing payroll cover when required

Supporting payroll reporting and working closely with Finance on month-end activity

Acting as a point of contact for payroll-related queries

Supporting payroll audit requirements
HR Support

Acting as a first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries

Supporting HR administration across the employee lifecycle

Maintaining HR documentation, templates and reporting data

Supporting Employee Relations processes through accurate documentation and administration including including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management
Recruitment & Onboarding

Coordinating recruitment activity for non-management roles

Supporting hiring managers with recruitment administration

Delivering structured onboarding and induction processes
HR Systems

Maintaining accurate employee records within the HRIS

Processing starters, leavers and organisational changes
-
Supporting HR reporting and system updates
We are looking for someone who combines strong payroll knowledge with a proactive and organised approach to HR operations.
About You
You will likely bring:

Experience delivering payroll within a medium to large organisation
-
Exposure to HR administration and Employee Relations processes
-
Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems
-
The ability to build effective relationships across HR, Finance and operational teams
Experience within a manufacturing or operational environment would be beneficial.
