Role Overview

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to strengthen our presence across Cumbria. This is not a transactional recruitment role, it is an opportunity to act as a trusted adviser to organisations, helping them shape their workforce strategy and secure the talent that enables long-term performance and growth. You will take ownership of developing new client relationships, building strong talent networks and representing Realise in the market. This role offers real autonomy, the opportunity to influence growth, and the platform to build visibility and credibility as a recruitment professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end recruitment solutions across a range of professional and operational roles.
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Build long-term partnerships with clients, understanding their business goals, culture and workforce challenges.
- Source and engage high-quality candidates through targeted search, networking, market mapping and headhunting.
- Develop talent pipelines aligned to client growth plans.
- Represent Realise HR at business events, networking forums and industry engagements.
- Support the planning and delivery of webinars, insight sessions and talent-focused events.
- Provide clients with market intelligence, salary benchmarking and hiring insight.
- Maintain strong personal visibility across social platforms to promote opportunities, share insight and enhance brand presence.
- Contribute to marketing campaigns, content creation and employer branding initiatives.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Experience within a 360 degree recruitment or talent acquisition role
- Strong relationship-building capability with a consultative approach.
- Confidence in generating new opportunities and developing client accounts.
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong networking capability and commitment to building market presence.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a growth mindset.
Desirable
- Experience hosting or contributing to events, workshops or webinars.
- Confidence using social media as a professional engagement and sourcing tool.
- Knowledge of the Cumbria business landscape.
